Homemade chicken tenders are leagues better than anything from a freezer bag. These are coated in a simple herb and spice mixture, baked until golden, and come out tender and juicy every time. Kids love them, adults love them, and they are easy enough for a busy weeknight.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken tenderloins
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp Redmond Real Salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper

Directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the garlic granules, paprika, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss the chicken tenderloins with the olive oil, then coat with the spice mixture.
- Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Notes
- Serve with honey mustard, ranch, or a simple squeeze of lemon.
- Slice and add to salads, grain bowls, or wraps for easy meal prep.
- These freeze well after cooking. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes.
