Cardamom Rose Breakfast Rice Pudding

Transform leftover rice into an aromatic breakfast pudding with warming cardamom and floral rose petals. This naturally gluten-free morning treat offers a delightful departure from typical oatmeal routines.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked Brown Basmati Rice
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup Duck River Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom (ground)
  • 2 tablespoons Red Roses
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Blanched Almonds
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Redmond Real Salt

Directions

  1. Combine cooked rice, milk, honey, cardamom, and salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Simmer gently for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens to pudding consistency.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and remove from heat.
  4. Serve warm topped with rose petals and sliced almonds.

  • Use day-old Brown Basmati Rice for best texture.
  • Substitute White Basmati Rice if preferred.
