If you think overnight oats are boring, this combination will change your mind. Cacao powder brings deep chocolate flavor while dried cranberries add a sweet-tart pop in every bite. It is indulgent enough to look forward to and clean enough to feel great about.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk of choice
- ⅓ cup plain whole-milk yogurt
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp Duck River honey
- 1 tbsp whole black chia seeds
- ¼ cup dried cranberries (apple juice infused)

*Bolded ingredients are products we typically carry at Tare Bulk Foods.
Directions
- Whisk the cacao powder into the milk until smooth, then combine with the oats, yogurt, honey, chia seeds, cranberries, and salt.
- Stir well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- In the morning, stir and adjust thickness with a splash of milk if needed.
- Top with cacao nibs, sliced almonds, and fresh berries.
Notes
- For a fully vegan version, use coconut yogurt and plant milk.
- The cranberries get softer and more jammy over time. These store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Try swapping the cacao powder for cocoa powder if you prefer a milder chocolate flavor.
