Ingredients
- 1/2 cup elderberries
- 2 cups water
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup Duck River honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- Pinch of black pepper

Directions
- Combine elderberries, water, and sliced ginger root in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until berries burst and liquid reduces by half.
- Strain mixture through fine mesh strainer, pressing solids to extract all liquid.
- While still warm, whisk in Duck River honey, lemon juice, turmeric, and black pepper until dissolved.
- Pour into small shot glasses or store in refrigerator in airtight container.
- Take 1-2 tablespoon shots daily for wellness support.
