Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

These green beans are so good they might steal the show from your main course. Roasted at high heat until they blister and get slightly charred, then finished with garlic and Parmesan, they are a far cry from mushy green beans you might remember. Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic granules
  • ½ tsp Redmond Real Salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

*Bolded ingredients are products we typically carry at Tare Bulk Foods.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic granules, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread in a single layer on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 15 to 18 minutes until blistered and slightly charred.
  4. Toss with fresh minced garlic and Parmesan immediately after removing from the oven.

Notes

  • The fresh garlic goes on after roasting so it does not burn. It gently cooks in the residual heat.
  • Skip the Parmesan and use nutritional yeast flakes for a vegan version.
  • These pair especially well with roasted chicken and steak.
