Ingredients
- 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled
- 1 inch fresh turmeric root, peeled (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 1 tbsp Duck River honey
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of cayenne
- 1/2 cup water

Directions
- Roughly chop ginger and turmeric root if using fresh.
- Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, honey, black pepper, cayenne, and water to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high speed 60-90 seconds until completely smooth.
- Strain through fine-mesh strainer, pressing solids to extract liquid.
- Pour into small shot glasses or ice cube trays for individual portions.
- Take 1-2 shots daily, preferably in the morning on empty stomach.
