Ginger Turmeric Wellness Shots

These powerful wellness shots pack maximum anti-inflammatory benefits into a small dose. The combination of ginger and turmeric with black pepper creates a potent daily health booster.

Ingredients

  • 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 inch fresh turmeric root, peeled (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 1 tbsp Duck River honey
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. Roughly chop ginger and turmeric root if using fresh.
  2. Add ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, honey, black pepper, cayenne, and water to a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend on high speed 60-90 seconds until completely smooth.
  4. Strain through fine-mesh strainer, pressing solids to extract liquid.
  5. Pour into small shot glasses or ice cube trays for individual portions.
  6. Take 1-2 shots daily, preferably in the morning on empty stomach.

  • The black pepper increases turmeric absorption by up to 2000%
  • Store shots in refrigerator up to 5 days
