This golden wellness tea combines the anti-inflammatory power of turmeric with the warming digestive benefits of ginger. It's naturally caffeine-free and perfect for sipping throughout the day or as an evening ritual.
Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced (or 1 teaspoon Ginger)
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Duck River Honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 Cinnamon Sticks (Korintje) for stirring

Directions
- In a small saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add fresh ginger slices and reduce heat to simmer for 8 minutes.
- Whisk in turmeric, cinnamon, and black pepper. Simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Strain tea into mugs, discarding solids.
- Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste.
- Serve hot with a cinnamon stick for stirring.
Notes
- Add a pinch of Cardamom (ground) for extra warmth.
- Substitute TN Maple Syrup for honey if desired.
- Make a larger batch and store in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat as needed.
- The black pepper helps with turmeric absorption.
