Golden Milk Chia Pudding

This nourishing chia pudding combines the benefits of turmeric with the creamy richness of coconut milk. The warming spices of golden milk create a comforting breakfast that can be prepped ahead for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Whole Black Chia Seeds
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons TN Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon Ginger
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Sugar Crystals

Directions

  1. Whisk together coconut milk, maple syrup, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Add chia seeds and whisk vigorously for 2 minutes to prevent clumping.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, whisking once more after 30 minutes.
  4. Serve chilled, topped with a sprinkle of coconut sugar crystals for extra sweetness.

Notes

  • Add Cardamom (ground) for additional warming spice flavor.
  • Top with chopped California Almonds (raw) for crunch.
  • Try Duck River Honey instead of maple syrup for a different sweetness profile.
