Lion's Mane Focus Elixir

Lion's mane mushroom has been used in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine for centuries, particularly for cognitive support. This elixir makes it easy and delicious to incorporate into your daily routine. The cacao gives it a rich chocolate flavor, cinnamon adds warmth, and the result tastes more like a fancy hot chocolate than a wellness drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp lion's mane mushroom powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • ½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1½ cups milk of choice
  • 1 to 2 tsp Duck River honey

Directions

  1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Whisk in the lion's mane powder, cacao powder, and cinnamon until completely smooth.
  3. Continue heating for 2 to 3 minutes, whisking frequently, until steaming but not boiling.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in honey, and pour into a mug.

Notes

  • For the smoothest texture, use a milk frother or blend briefly in a blender.
  • Lion's mane has a very mild flavor that is easily masked by the cacao. You will not taste it.
  • Try this as a coffee replacement in the morning for sustained focus without the jitters.
