Ingredients
- 1 tsp matcha green tea
- 2 tbsp hot water (not boiling, around 175 degrees)
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1 tbsp Duck River honey

Directions
- Sift the matcha powder into a small bowl or mug to remove any clumps.
- Add the hot water and whisk vigorously with a matcha whisk or small regular whisk until frothy and smooth.
- Heat the milk until steaming, then froth it. Pour the hot milk over the matcha paste.
- Stir in the honey and enjoy.
Notes
- For an iced matcha latte, whisk the matcha with 2 tablespoons of warm water, then pour over a glass of ice and cold milk.
- Swap the Duck River honey for TN maple syrup for a vegan version with a deeper sweetness.
