Ingredients
- 2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons matcha green tea
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Redmond Real Salt
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup cane sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, matcha powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in flour mixture until just combined, then fold in white chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers still look soft.
Notes
- Sift matcha green tea before measuring to prevent lumps
- Don't overbake - cookies will continue cooking on the hot pan
