There is nothing quite like the aroma of apple cider simmering on the stove with whole spices. The cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice slowly release their warmth into the cider, turning plain apple juice into something magical. Make a pot when friends come over and the whole house will smell incredible.

- Add a few slices of fresh ginger for extra warmth and a slight kick.
