Tandoori Spiced Chicken Drumsticks

These vibrant chicken drumsticks get their deep flavor from a tandoori spice marinade that transforms ordinary chicken into something extraordinary. The yogurt marinade tenderizes the meat while the spices create a beautiful golden crust.

Ingredients

  • 8 Chicken Drumsticks (per LB)
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Tandoori seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Redmond Real Salt
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Directions

  1. Whisk together yogurt, tandoori seasoning, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add drumsticks and toss to coat completely. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Remove drumsticks from marinade and arrange on prepared baking sheet. Roast for 35-40 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Works equally well with Chicken Thighs (per LB).
  • Substitute Garam Masala seasoning if tandoori is unavailable.
  • Serve with White Basmati Rice and vegetables.
  • Marinate longer for deeper flavor penetration.
