Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Root, dried
- 1/4 teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- Pinch of Cardamom
- 1 tablespoon Duck River Honey
- 1 tablespoon coconut milk (optional)

Directions
- In a small saucepan, bring water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Add turmeric, ginger root, cinnamon, black pepper, and cardamom to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer into two mugs.
- Stir honey into each mug while tea is still hot. Add coconut milk if using.
Notes
- Black pepper helps increase turmeric absorption, so don't skip it.
- Try TN Maple Syrup instead of honey for a different sweetness profile.
- For convenience, make a larger batch and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
